Ward 10 Monthly Meeting
What a great turnout for our first Ward 10 meeting. Many thanks to our guest speakers Metro Transportation and Mariam Ray. Metro encouraged all of our seniors to utilize SCAT services, and to complete the application in advance of need and Mariam Ray shared information about the new Rubber Worker Statue that will be installed downtown at the roundabout on Main St, along with memorial bricks and a new kiosk that will share personal stories of rubber workers and their families.
Officer Ledbetter and Officer Bietzel informed us of recent criminal activity in the area and were able to answer questions from the audience.
Councilwoman Connor, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and support of the community to be able to serve as the new ward councilperson and provided folders and contact information for all.
To reach Councilwoman Connor, please call 330-784-6623 or e-mail WARD10@akronohio.gov.
